My Bio
It's time I finally use my space here on Deviant Art. I probably don't fit in here because I don't draw in my image manipulation programs but use them to adjust and modify textures for use on 3D models to be rendered. I can do that with just the mouse. Yeah odd isn't it. Ok I've never been normal. LOL.
Although I've done some serious 3D graphics modeling(a lot less these days) I still can't help but do some 3D rendered images just for my own amusement and hopefully the amusement of others. I think of it as stress relief. No the renderer isn't Mental Ray and the lighting isn't that perfect on the images but then I'm not shooting for that level of involvement or realism anyway. All and all I just hope people find some fun in viewing them.

Life and my tools...
I've had to make some changes in expectations and life recently and amongst them full on changes in software I use. I'm kind of putting away the real expensive stuff I used and shifting to more cost effective alternatives. Amongst them is the my beginning use of Blender 3D instead of Cinema 4DXL for modeling. If I'm not going to be making the money with my 3D habit and since the free stuff is getting good enough I might as well switch. Gimp is looking good as well. No it's not Photoshop but then if you know enough you can still get personal things done well. Surprisingly the 2D program I used(Micrographic's PicturePublisher) instead of Photoshop with all it's layers and filters held up over time so well it's amazing. To bad that company didn't stick with it. Their software was good in it's time and could've given Adobe a run for their money now if it was still around.

As for me as an artist. I do graphics(digital graphics?) Does that make me an artist? Probably not. I also don't have a signature style. What I do graphically can very like the shifting of the winds. The only thing that's consistent is that nothing is consistent except a few sets of sequential images I may do from time to time.

Edit.
Oh crud! Since writing the above I've rediscovered pencil and paper. The world is now in peril! Run while you can. Save your selves....

I give up...

0 min read
What a disaster my life has been. Crap. More poop just hit the fan and I can't keep up with all of it anymore. More real life issues keeping me from the pursuit of anything about art be it 2D or 3D again. Seems it never ends.

I may commit and act of hand drawn "fan art" in my gallery here. Before this year I'd never done fan art. Heck I haven't drawn in years and every time I've put pencil to paper to start again I've been hit by another life crisis with the poop making heavy contact with the fast spinning thing. I'm just recovering AGAIN from the last one a number of months ago. It's amazing how repeated bodily damage from things like car collisions affects your artistic skills and ability to concentrate.

Many Thanks for the fav and the watch :)

Were all artists. Some have a stricter workflow & get payed for it & some of us do if purely for fun & to let the characters & ideas out of our heads.  If you post something new send me a note as I'm following so many & never check it.
Just came to say hello and thank you for +devWatching my 3D Animeness work! I appreciate the time you have spent browsing my gallery and hope you had fun!
